1. Apple's license agreement also applies
Impact Point is distributed through Apple's App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA") applies to your use of the Game. These Terms add to it. Where the two conflict, the Standard EULA governs.
2. Your license to play
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and play Impact Point on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment, as allowed by the App Store's usage rules. You may not:
- copy, modify, rent, lend, sell or redistribute the Game or any part of it;
- decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the Game, except where the law expressly allows it;
- remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other notice in the Game.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may play with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
3. The Full Game in-app purchase
Impact Point is free to download, and the free trial plays the home range, Cedar Hollow. A single one-time in-app purchase, the Full Game, unlocks the rest of the Game as described on the App Store and in the Game. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- The Full Game is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all billing and payment, under Apple's own terms. We never see your payment details. The purchase is validated through RevenueCat, as described in the privacy policy.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. A refunded purchase is removed from the Game.
- With the same Apple Account, the Full Game applies to Impact Point on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. Use Restore purchases (Settings › iCloud & Full Game in the Game) to bring it back on a new device.
4. In-game money and virtual items
Impact Point has its own in-game money, earned by playing (from match purses, for example) and spent on entry fees and at the Pro Shop. The rifles, optics, ammunition and other gear, trophies and achievements in the Game, like the money, are virtual and exist only inside the Game:
- in-game money cannot be bought with real money, and it has no real-world value;
- it cannot be exchanged, sold, transferred or cashed out for money, goods or anything of value;
- you receive a license to use virtual items while you play, not ownership of them.
We may adjust in-game prices, rewards and balance in updates to keep the Game fair and fun.
5. Game Center, iCloud and RevenueCat are third-party services
Daily and Weekly Challenges, leaderboards, achievements, friend duels and club matches use Apple's Game Center. Career sync uses your iCloud account. These are Apple's services, provided under Apple's terms and privacy policy, and their availability is up to Apple. Purchase validation uses RevenueCat, under its own terms. We are not responsible for these services, including any outage, loss of access or change their providers make to them.
6. Fair play
Leaderboards, the Daily and Weekly Challenges, friend duels and club matches are shared with other players, so keep them fair. Do not:
- use cheats, exploits, bugs, automation or modified saves or apps to gain an advantage;
- post scores that were not earned by playing the Game as intended;
- tamper with another player's scores or matches.
We may remove scores and limit access to shared features for players who break these rules. If you find an exploit, please tell us at [email protected].
7. It's a game
Impact Point simulates long-range target shooting at paper, steel, clays and reactive targets on fictional ranges. All rifles, ammunition and gear in the Game are virtual. It is entertainment, not firearms instruction, ballistic data for real shooting, equipment advice or safety training. Real shooting is a potentially dangerous activity: follow your range's rules, local laws and the guidance of qualified instructors.
8. Intellectual property
The Game, including its code, ranges, characters, artwork, audio, names and logos, belongs to Range Logic and its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you. The ranges and characters in the Game are fictional, and no shooting organization or equipment maker has endorsed, sponsored or is affiliated with Impact Point.
9. Updates and changes to the Game
We may update, change or stop offering features of the Game. Some features may need the latest version of the Game or of your device's operating system.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that saves or synced careers will never be lost.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, game progress or goodwill, arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Game and its in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
12. Apple
These Terms are between you and Range Logic, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Game or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
13. Termination
These Terms apply until ended by you or by us. They end automatically if you break them. You can end them at any time by deleting the Game from your devices.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles.
