Privacy Policy

1. Data Storage and Security

NockPoint is designed with a local-first philosophy. Your training data, shot scores, equipment inventory, and notes are stored locally on your device in a secure SQLite database. We do not run central database servers that store or collect your private archery records.

2. Wearables and Sensors

NockPoint integrates with Apple Watch and Polar Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) heart rate sensors:

  • Apple Watch: Session scoring data is synced between your phone and your watch locally using Apple Watch connectivity frameworks.
  • Heart Rate Sensors: Polar sensor data (like heart rate readings) is processed live during a session to display cardiovascular stats alongside your scores. This sensor data is saved only on your local device and is not uploaded or shared with any third party.

3. Peer-to-Peer and Coach Sharing

NockPoint offers features to connect with other archers and coaches:

  • Matchups: Local head-to-head matchups use Apple Multipeer Connectivity (over local Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) to transmit scores directly between devices. No data is routed through or stored on Range Logic servers.
  • Coach Sharing: Remote pairings use Apple CloudKit to securely sync session summaries. This data relies entirely on your personal iCloud account and Apple's secure cloud storage.

4. Purchases and Billing

All in-app purchases are securely managed and processed through Apple's App Store payment systems. NockPoint uses RevenueCat to track and verify entitlement status. Range Logic does not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or financial information.
