1. Apple's licence agreement also applies
Twelve Ring is distributed through Apple's App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA") applies to your use of the Game. These Terms add to it. Where the two conflict, the Standard EULA governs.
2. Your licence to play
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and play Twelve Ring on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment, as allowed by the App Store's usage rules. You may not:
- copy, modify, rent, lend, sell or redistribute the Game or any part of it;
- decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the Game, except where the law expressly allows it;
- remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other notice in the Game.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may play with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
3. The Full Tour in-app purchase
Twelve Ring is free to download. A single one-time in-app purchase, the Full Tour, unlocks the rest of the Game as described on the App Store and in the Game. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- The Full Tour is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all billing and payment, under Apple's own terms. We never see your payment details.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. A refunded purchase is removed from the Game.
- With the same Apple Account, the Full Tour applies to Twelve Ring on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. If you use Family Sharing, the members of your family group can use it too. Use Restore Purchases (Settings ▸ Purchases in the Game) to bring it back on a new device.
4. In-game money and items
Twelve Ring has its own in-game money, earned by shooting, along with prize money, sponsorships, equipment, badges and trophies. These exist only inside the Game:
- in-game money cannot be bought with real money, and it has no real-world value;
- it cannot be exchanged, sold, transferred or cashed out for money, goods or anything of value;
- you receive a licence to use in-game items while you play, not ownership of them.
We may adjust in-game prices, rewards and balance in updates to keep the Game fair and fun.
5. Game Center and iCloud are Apple's services
Friends, leaderboards, achievements and challenges use Apple's Game Center. Saves, clubs and friends' tournaments use your iCloud account. These are Apple's services, provided under Apple's terms and privacy policy, and their availability is up to Apple. We are not responsible for them, including any outage, loss of access or change Apple makes to them.
6. Clubs, tournaments and what you share
When you create or join a club or a friends' tournament, what you enter (such as club and tournament names) and your scorecards are shared with the players in it. You are responsible for what you share. Don't use names or content that are offensive, hateful, harassing, infringing or unlawful.
Shared records are kept in the iCloud account of the player who created them, not on servers of ours, so we cannot read or edit them. We may, however, hide or block content that breaks these Terms in a future version of the Game, and limit or remove access to shared features for players who misuse them. You can also leave a club at any time.
7. Fair play
Leaderboards, the Daily Five and friends' competitions are shared with other players, so keep them fair. Do not:
- use cheats, exploits, bugs, automation or modified saves or apps to gain an advantage;
- post scores that were not earned by playing the Game as intended;
- tamper with another player's records.
We may remove scores and limit access to shared features for players who break these rules. If you find an exploit, please tell us at [email protected].
8. It's a game
Twelve Ring simulates competition archery on foam 3D targets. It is entertainment, not archery instruction, equipment advice or safety training. Real archery is a potentially dangerous activity: follow your range's rules, local laws and the guidance of qualified coaches and bow technicians.
9. Intellectual property
The Game, including its code, courses, artwork, audio, names and logos, belongs to Range Logic and its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you. "ASA-style" and "IBO-style" describe the rules the Game models; no archery organisation has endorsed or is affiliated with Twelve Ring.
10. Updates and changes to the Game
We may update, change or stop offering features of the Game. Some features may need the latest version of the Game or of your device's operating system.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that saves or shared records will never be lost.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, game progress or goodwill, arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Game and its in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
13. Apple
These Terms are between you and Range Logic, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Game or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
14. Termination
These Terms apply until ended by you or by us. They end automatically if you break them. You can end them at any time by deleting the Game from your devices.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles.
